Table Tipping Christmas Party
My class in Vienna had a wonderful time at our last meeting making tables really move! Sometimes the tables went so fast that people fell over trying to catch up with them. At the end of the class, four participants were working on levitating a table, which was vibrating and rocking, seemingly ready to take off. Too bad we ran out of time. I hope to get a few participants together to work more with this phenomenon. If nothing else, it is enormous fun!

Do those tables have wheels on them?

Absolutely not. They are regular tables and often quite heavy.

How do you do that? Thin strings? I’m not trying to insult you, I just want to know.

You should look into the research on humans affecting matter. There’s lots of evidence. For this kind of work–telekinesis–you need noise and an extremely active environment–such as loud music and shouting.

Are you on a boat?

No! In a building. The tables really fly!
